FINISHED
I have learnt so much in this project and surprisingly started to really enjoy working after effects towards the end. After effects is defiantly something I'm going to practice more in the summer, I'm really surprised at the endless possibilities in it and the profesional outcomes. About my animation though, the things I would change if I could do it again would properly be use a tablet and use illustration to give it another dynamic, and better time management.

Almost there
Today I got told about lighting effects in after effects. I feel that thing really gives another dimention on my animation. Experimenting with how many different effects I could put on with lights, I can have it follow the car, use them as the light coming out of the car and also just stand still lights to give more dimention. I really didn't like my shape that was demonstrating light it was looking takey and didn't fit right.

After experimenting, I decided to use this gradient, giving a really nice look and feel that I wanted but still keeping that simple efffect.

Story Bord
First half of animation is in countryside
Middle section is abstract
Last is organisational modern city
I want to create an enviroment an atmosphere that is symetical and curious. Why is this person traveling in the night time to the city? This music immediately fits hand in hand with travel. I have never used much of adobe after effects and have allways done stop motion in my past, so I'm going to start trying that out and see what it's like. I want to really get to grips with after effects. I really like my story bord, i think it's clear and has a definate style to it. I want to keep this when making my animaiton

Inspiration
Classic TV show, the movement of the garage is nice, and a good touch and can easily be doable.
Powerful girls movie, I've always been intrigued by how cartoons show intior design and the environment of an organised character. Here I take inspiration from the Professor and his house.
Another classic, looking at angels. Noticing how the cars dont move but the backgrounds do.
